Terms & Conditions

BOOKINGS: To secure your requested booking date, a non-refundable deposit and signed contract are required. The non-refundable deposit amounts are as follows and will be applied toward your total service cost.
 
  • Bridal Makeup: $100

  • Beauty & Glam Makeup: $100

  • Special FX Makeup: $100
     

DEPOSIT DISCLAIMER: To secure your requested booking date, the non-refundable and non-transferable deposit must be paid within 48 hours, and it will be applied toward the total balance of services.

 

CONTRACT DISCLAIMER: Additionally, a fully completed and signed contract must be returned within 48 hours of receipt.

FINAL PAYMENT DISCLAIMER: Final payment is due prior to the event and before any services are rendered. If the deposit is not made, the contract is not fully completed and signed, or the final payment is not received before the event, Abby Elyse Makeup Artistry reserves the sole discretion to withhold services and terminate the contract, while retaining the non-refundable deposit.

 
TRIAL / CONSULTATIONS: Consultation services are accessible for brides and their entire bridal party, encompassing bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, grandmothers, extended family members, and guest speakers, among others. To prevent incurring an extra travel charge, it is advised that supplementary consultations coincide with the bride's consultation day. Please note that makeup trials are exclusively offered for bridal occasions, and not for events such as Prom, Homecoming, Glam, and Halloween.
 
SERVICE LOCATION & REQUIREMENTS: The choice of venue for on-the-day makeup services will rest with the Bride's preference. The makeup artist kindly asks for the provision of a setup table or work area, a trash can, an electrical outlet, and abundant lighting to facilitate her work. If applicable, kindly include the hotel details and room number within the contract's address description for proper coordination.
 
LIABILITY: Each client's makeup application involves the thorough sanitizing of all brushes, tools, and makeup products. For safety, any allergies or skin conditions must be communicated by the client to the makeup artist before application. In some cases, a preliminary makeup test may be conducted on the skin to assess any reactions. By receiving makeup services, the client(s) consent to absolve the makeup artist, Abby Elyse, of any responsibility for skin complications arising from allergic reactions to any applied makeup, including lashes and special effects. Additionally, please note that as a result of this provision, the makeup artist is unable to offer eyebrow tweezing or razor services.
 
NOTICE FOR BRIDES: I kindly ask all clients to arrive at their appointments with a clean, makeup-free face.
DELAYS: In the event that delays arise from a client's lateness or if the scheduled makeup application extends beyond the designated time due to client delays, an extra late fee of $50.00 will be charged at the commencement of each half-hour interval.
PARKING FEES: Any valet, toll or parking fees will be included in the final bill and will be due on the day of the event.
 
TRAVEL FEES: Complimentary travel is provided within the confines of Sedona City limits. However, for destinations outside of these limits, a travel fee will be determined by the makeup artist based on considerations such as weather, holidays, time of day, commute mileage, and other relevant factors. Additional charges may apply in such cases and is at the discretion of the makeup artist.
 
PAYMENT: The remaining balance is required to be settled prior to services being rendered. The individual(s) listed in this contract are accountable for the full payment of the balance.
SERVICE LOCATION & REQUIREMENTS: The location of makeup services for the day-of-event will be at the bride’s discretion. Makeup artist requests a set-up table/work area, trash can, outlet, and ample lighting for her use. Please communicate the hotel and room number in contract under address description (if applicable).
 
EXTRAS: Total price at signing of contract does not include unexpected add-ons at time of event. additions will be priced accordingly, and payment required immediately.

CLIENT CANCELLATION POLICY:

We understand that unexpected events can occur, but cancelling your appointment without notice prevents us from scheduling other clients who are waiting for services.
 

Cancellation within 48 hours of the event will incur a non-refundable fee of $300, as those time slots cannot be rescheduled. To cancel, you must email abbyelysemakeupt@gmail.com. It's important to ensure that we receive and acknowledge your cancellation notice asap.
 

Please note, changes to a confirmed wedding or event date or location depend on our availability. In the rare case that our artist cannot perform the contracted services due to illness or other reasons, we will issue a full refund, minus the deposit.
